Ms. Stone has worked in her own private law practice on Long Island since 2001. Previously, she worked for the Social Security Administration hearing offices from 1994-1999. She started as a Staff Attorney and she eventually became a Senior Attorney, an Adjudication Officer and a Supervisory Staff Attorney. From 1999 until 2001, she worked for MFY Legal Services, where she exclusively handled Social Security Disability cases (SSD) and Supplemental Security Disability cases (SSI). In her private practice, she has continued to handle all types of Social Security cases and private policy Long Term Disability (LTD) cases.
Ms. Stone is an active member of several organizations. She regularly teaches courses to train other attorneys. She maintains a network of attorneys/representatives in all practice areas so that she can easily match potential clients with skilled professionals for cases where clients have needs that do not fall within her own practice.
